Choose your questions and ask the parents to review them. Keep the tone warm and make sure they’re comfortable with the topics. Predictions about future parenting are playful guesses, so agree on an answer key before guests play.
For a paper game, download the free question sheet and print one for each guest. Keep the answer key separate. For a phone game, set up the party and prepare its answer key in advance.
Allow about 8 minutes for Little Party’s round, plus extra time if the parents want to share stories. Test the guest link before the event and make sure guests can get online at the venue.
How to play Mommy or Daddy
- Explain the game. Guests choose Mommy or Daddy for each question. Their goal is to match the prepared answer key.
- Collect guesses. Give everyone time to answer before revealing anything.
- Reveal the answers. Read each question and reveal the selected parent. Pause for a story or a friendly disagreement.
- Check the scores. With paper, award one point for each matching answer. Little Party handles its own scoring and shows the results.
A prize is optional. If you have tied winners in a paper round, sharing the win is an easy finish.

Play on phones with Little Party
Create a free host account and choose Mommy or Daddy? for your party. A parent prepares and approves the private answer key before play. Guests join through your link or party code with a nickname; they don’t need an account or an app.
When everyone is ready, the host starts the game, closes submissions, and leads the answer reveals. Little Party scores the guesses, leaving you free to enjoy the reactions.
Can we play at a virtual shower?
Yes. Keep your own video call open while guests play. Little Party doesn’t provide video calling. If you prefer paper, guests can write their answers at home and check them as you reveal the key.
Is there a printable download?
Yes! Download the free PDF in US Letter or A4. Both include the same 10 questions and blank answer choices. The parents fill out a separate copy to create your answer key, since every family’s answers are different.
